AMD Ryzen processors from the 3000 series can undoubtedly be called successful designs - they offer one great performance, functional platform, and at the same time they have been competitively priced. The effect is that units from this series are more and more often found in new computer sets.
the CPU was priced at 200 dollars. The model is equipped with 6 cores and 12 threads based on the Zen 2 microarchitecture. The basic clock speed is 3.6 GHz, but in Boost mode it can accelerate to 4.2 GHz.
It operates with a DDR4 module clocked at 3200 MHz, and 32 MB of the third level cache.
If you thought about accelerating it to the level of a more efficient model, it will not be a big improvement, the potential for OC is very modest here and only translates into a small increase in performance. So you can see that the manufacturer has already achieved good operating parameters for this processor at the factory, the advantage here is the low demand for electricity.
In our opinion, Ryzen 5 3600 is currently the best offer in the budget up to 240 dollars . If you're building a computer for around 1,300 dollars, there's nothing to think about. You get a versatile design that offers very good performance in programs and games relative to the competition, and at the same time works with the functional AM4 platform. AMD did a great job again.
PROS
- great performance in processor applications,
- good execution of single threads,
- support for PCI-Express 4.0 bus,
- compatibility with the AM4 platform,
- low power consumption in relation to efficiency,
CONS
- very low overclocking potential.
