The GTX 1650 SUPER card is intended by Nvidia to be an equipment of budget machines used for gaming.

Of course, I will start with the most interesting issue, i.e. the offered performance. In this respect, the new chip does not disappoint, providing a solid boost of power compared to the predecessor GTX 1650. NVIDIA added almost 43% more shading and texturing units, while increasing the bandwidth by 50%, so in principle, a big advantage was to be expected in advance. And so it happened, because the GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER outperforms the GTX 1650 by about 35%, which allows it to easily compete with the Radeon RX 580 (while the GTX 1660 is ahead of it by 10%). Naturally, the acceleration over the GTX 1650 is highly game dependent, but in FullHD resolution you can count on 60 frames per second at high settings. On the other hand, overclocking is good - 2040-2055 MHz on the core and 1800 MHz on memories ensured a performance increase of about 11.3%.

The GTX 1650 SUPER is also using faster memory - this model has 4 GB of memory which is GDDR6 at 12 Gbps. The base clock speed is also higher, though slightly, and amounts to 1530 MHz with a boost to 1725 MHz. The card's TDP was set at 100 W.

However, I cannot say a bad word about the temperatures, which, even in extreme moments, practically did not exceed 65 degrees.

PROS

A very large jump in performance compared to GeForce GTX 1650 (performance on the level of Radeon RX 580),

nice cooling system (low temperatures and acceptable work culture),

energy efficiency at a really high level,

very good core and memory overclocking capabilities (over 11% performance increase),

potentially quite attractive price

CONS

no semi-passive cooling mode,

only 4 GB of memory
